John was born at his grandma's house in Barrow Road in Sileby.His first real home was an asbestos bunglow in the grounds of Topnotch Quaker Road Sileby.John lived there with his mam dad and two sisters Jane and Sandra.His dad started to build a new house on the spare land they had.John and his two sisters used to stand on the scalfold so they could see the lights in Mountsorrel shining.Two weeks before christmas in 1960 the family moved into there new house.John was 5 years old. In 1962 his brother Paul was born.By the time his little sister Samantha was born in 1971 Jelson's were building around the family home and Topnotch Quaker Road became Charles Sreet.John lived there until he got married. John's third home was in Springfield Road shepshed Until his marrage failed.John's forth home was in loughborough road Mountsorrel.John got married again.John later built an house in Derby Road Loughborough,this became his fifth house.John's sixth and final house was to be in Lincolnshire where he spent over 20 year's.This was in Woolsthorpe near to Sir Isac Newton's House.Sir Isac Newton was the face on the £10 note and John lived in Newton Close with his wife Eileen and children Jimmy and Louise and Trixy the dog.from Sandra.
